This is a portrait of Cindi who used to live at the park but now lives with me. Cindi is a breathtakingly beautiful cat, delicate, and the color of pale smoke. She was abandoned, but was not wild. This painting was created from a quick sketch done at the park and developed in my studio. It explores the shape of her walking with her characteristic inward focus and caution. For me, it has the feel of a japanese print.
