Modern Cat Art. A contemporary cat portrait of Magaritari playing with her toy in true blue, black, and yellow-orange. I tried to enter her world in this painting, and make it an interior cat portrait as well as an exterior one. Margaritari means pearl in Greek. Margaritari is not a solid black cat, she has some white markings which I indicated with a few lines. I tried to keep my descriptions to a minimum because my interest here was more the essence of her involvement in her activity, playing, as she loses herself, or finds herself, in the toy and becomes one with it. I never know how successful a portrait like this is going to be, I like to experiment, but I was really happy with the results here.
