The wonderful feel of a cozy interior, the promise of the gift in the morning light, listening to and playing your favourite music, writing songs, singing along to your favourite songs, and learning to pick them, when you know you have the whole day before you. That's what this painting is about. It's about one of the great joys in life as the cycle of the week rolls around to a day of rest and peaceful reflection. It feels like it belongs to us.
